It is with significant pride that I am pleased to announce that we are announcing a major organizational change at CoinRoutes today. Effective immediately, I will assume the role of Chairman of the Board while Ian Weisberger will take over the role of CEO.
Ian has been my partner on CoinRoutes 6 year journey, responsible for most of the innovations we have brought to the market, including our patented distributed architecture, market leading algorithms, and revolutionary DeFi trading system. His management of our growing technology team has been exemplary and his growth needs to be recognized. At the same time, CoinRoutes is ready for our next step as a corporation, having survived a brutal 2022 where the FTX bankruptcy put a significant number of our clients out of business and shook the confidence of the entire industry.
Having recorded our third consecutive record volume month & 4 straight profitable months, CoinRoutes is poised for rapid growth. Ian has been running the day to day business already and is more than capable of navigating the company’s growth trajectory. At the same time, separating CEO from Chairman duties is better corporate governance. Ian will have all direct management responsibilities and I will run our board of directors, providing guidance when appropriate.
That being said, I will not be leaving the firm; those who know me understand my energy is undaunted. Rather, I will focus that energy on quantitative research, product development including interaction with clients, regulatory liaison and advocacy, and will help lead PR and marketing efforts to build our brand globally.
I will, of course, continue to be a resource for our exceptional team at CoinRoutes, providing product & market training, collaborating on product development & holding our “CoinRoutes U” classes.
